What are Slug Butter Range Games?
They’re fun, interactive steel targets designed to make range time a little more interesting. Think less “shoot the same old gong” and more “let’s play a game.”
What are Slug Butter targets made for?
Our Range Games are made specifically for .22 caliber firearms. They’re a great fit for .22 pistols, rifles, and other .22 caliber firearms used at appropriate ranges. Each game is designed with .22 caliber shooting in mind, so be sure to check the individual product for any specific setup or use recommendations.
How should I set up and use my target?
Set up your target in a safe, appropriate shooting area with a proper backstop behind it. Make sure everyone in the area knows the range is hot before shooting. Always wear appropriate eye and ear protection, follow the rules of your range, and use safe shooting practices. Most importantly: know your target, know what’s behind it, and know what you're shooting.
Can I shoot these with something other than a .22?
Slug Butter Range Games are designed and intended for .22 caliber use. We build them around the fun, accessibility, and relatively low-impact nature of .22 shooting.
Are these real steel targets?
Yep. We make our targets right here in Ohio from steel, cut and finished in our own shop.
Do I need special equipment to use them?
Not at all. Our games are designed to be easy to set up and fun to use at the range. Individual products will include any specific setup information you need.
Where are Slug Butter products made?
Right here in Ohio. We’re a Columbus-based sibling team, and we love working with other Ohio businesses whenever we can.
Are you going to make more games?
Absolutely. We’re constantly dreaming up, building, and testing new ways to make range time more fun. If we think of something ridiculous enough to shoot at, there’s a pretty good chance we’ll make it.
Is Slug Butter just for serious shooters?
Definitely not. That’s kind of the point. We make Range Games for people who want to have more fun at the range with their friends.
